Pre-orders start Tuesday for the first new Sonambient release in nearly 40 years. Sourced from Harry Bertoia’s massive archive of recorded work, these LPs were cut straight off the original master reels for a true, pure analog recording. A CD will be available as well.
A small amount of gold vinyl, first offered as part of a Kickstarter campaign, will be available for the original pledge price of $100. Proceeds from the sale will be put towards future Sonambient projects including a book focused on the world of Sonambient.
Here’s the trailer for Ian Clark’s “luminously abstract” film A Morning Light featuring music from ELEH:
Brand new late summer podcast from Imprec featuring Coil, Mark Lyken, Catherine Christer Hennix, Acid Mothers Temple, Eleh and more.
